Radcliff Earns First Summit League Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. - South Dakota's Cody Snyder, Southern Utah's Cameron Levins and Oral Roberts' Kristen Radcliff were named The Summit League's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their performances April 3-9.

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK                     
Kristen Radcliff, Oral Roberts
Sr., Forgan, Okla./Forgan
Radcliff garners her first career Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week award after setting the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a second-place finish at the Stanford Invitational.  The senior finished with a league-best time of 10:23.94, which ranks 29th in the nation.  Radcliff bested her previous school record by over 30 seconds.

MEN'S ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
Cody Snyder, South Dakota
So., Lake Andes, S.D./Andes Central
Snyder captures his first career Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honor after winning the discus and setting school and state records.  The sophomore won the event with a throw of 186'8" (56.89m), breaking the school record by more than 13 feet which has stood since 1985.  His mark is a league-best and ranks 10th nationally.  Snyder also finished runner-up in the shot put with a mark of 53'11" (16.43m), second-best in the league.

Cameron Levins, Southern Utah
Sr., British Columbia, Canada
Levins earns his fourth career Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week award and first of the season after breaking the school record in the 1,500 meters and posting a top-10 time in the nation.  The British Columbia native finished with a league-best time of 3:42.61, the 10th-fastest time in the nation.  His honor marks the fourth of his career and ties for the second-most Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week awards in a career (since 2000) with Oral Roberts' Andretti Bain.
