Tori Dollar and the Golden Eagles fell to No. 25 Tulsa on Sunday night

Tulsa (1-0) took the doubles point with a pair of resounding victories. Michelle Farley and Saana Saarteinen won the second flight, 8-0, over Marizanne Bouwer and Rachel Scroggs, while Renata Kuricova and Maria Sant'Anna took down ORU’s Natalia Dollar and Brittany Smith, 8-1.
With the point clinched, the two sides abandoned the No. 1 doubles match in progress.
Tulsa controlled the six singles matches, beginning at the top court. Sant’Anna beat Melanie Marlin in the top flight, 6-1, 7-5, while Isaura Enrique defeated Tori Dollar in the second flight, 6-0, 6-0.
In No. 3 singles, Saarteinen won a 6-1, 6-1 decision over Bouwer, and Carol Benito beat Scroggs in the fourth flight, 6-0, 6-0.
In the fifth flight, Kuricova knocked off Natalia Dollar, 6-1, 6-0, and Smith loss to Tulsa’s Belen Rivera on the sixth court, 6-0, 6-0.
ORU’s next scheduled match is Sunday, February 17, when they face Nicholls State. First serve is scheduled for 10 am.
