Played with fellow ORU freshman Tyler Crupper under Andy Powers at Franklin HS... District 1-5A champions and runner-ups during junior and senior seasons... 2011 First Team All-District, Pitcher of the Year and Louisville Slugger All-American.

Son of Guillermo and Sandra Trujillo... majoring in theology... chose ORU over Arizona, New Mexico, Lamar, North Carolina and Texas Tech because of the Christian atmosphere, academics and athletics.
