Whitt Places Fifth at USA Championships

Whitt soared to a height of 5.35 meters (17-06.50) in the pole vault to place fifth, besting the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field national champion, Jordan Scott.
The Norman, Okla., native had an outstanding freshman season, winning five consecutive pole vaults to begin his collegiate career during the indoor season. Whitt earned USTFCCCA All-America honors after placing sixth in the pole vault at the 2010 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, and claimed both pole vault titles at the Summit League Indoor and Outdoor Championships.
