Chafausipo Earns 16th at NCAA Finals

Des Moines, IA-Oral Roberts wrapped up the outdoor track and field season Friday afternoon with Clive Chafausipo placing 16th in the men's long jump at the NCAA Championships.

The 5'10" junior from Harare, Zimbabwe notched a three-round best jump of 7.60m on his first attempt, before following that up with scores of 7.46 and 7.50.

Melvin Echard of Texas A&M placed just ahead of Chafausipo with a best jump of 7.62m
The overall title went to Florida State's Ngonidzashe Makusha, who scored a 8.40m in round four of competition.

Chafausipo qualified for this week's finals after placing fourth in the NCAA preliminaries with a jump of 7.70m.
