TULSA, Okla. - Following a tough loss on Friday night to Northeastern, the Oral Roberts men's soccer team looks to rebound on Sunday as they host Oklahoma City University in the second of three exhibition contests.
Kickoff against the Stars is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Case Soccer Complex on the ORU campus.
In the exhibition opener against the RiverHawks, the Golden Eagles picked up a goal from Cody Lofgren, while the RiverHawks added an own goal, making the final 3-2.
Sunday's contest will be the first time the Stars, a member of Sooner Athletic Conference and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, take the field for competition this season. In the conference preseason poll, the Stars were picked to finish second.
They are led by the OCU's leading scorer from a year ago, Adam Black. Black scored 14 goals last season and was named to the SAC All-First Team.
