CONWAY, Ark. - Oral Roberts University’s upcoming volleyball match against the University of Central Arkansas, scheduled for Saturday, October 13, has been moved to a 5 pm CT first serve, it was announced today. The match had previously been slated to start at 2 pm CT.

The Golden Eagles (8-11, 4-4 Southland Conference) enter the match on a roll after sweeping Lamar and McNeese State over the Weekend. Libero Bruna Silva leads the SLC with 5.10 digs per set.

The Sugar Bears (19-1, 7-1 SLC) face Missouri State tonight in their final preparation for Saturday’s match. UCA has won seven straight SLC matches and swept the SLC’s Volleyball Player of the Week awards, with Marissa Collins (Offensive) and Alicia Dittrich (Defensive) earning weekly honors.

Saturday’s match is a faceoff between the league’s two preseason favorites, as Central Arkansas narrowly edged ORU in both of the SLC’s Preseason Volleyball Polls.
