TULSA, Okla.-After leading the team in every race this season, sophomore Samantha Watson will represent ORU at the 2012 NCAA Midwest Regional, hosted by Missouri State on Friday, November 9.
Watson earned All-Southland honors for her ninth-place finish in the recent conference championships, and will compete at the NCAA Regional for the second year in a row. Watson finished 125th overall with a time of 23:24.66 in last year's Midwest Regional.
She will be more familiar with the course this year though, having run on it in the second week of the season, finishing 14th overall at the Richard Clark Invitational, also hosted by Missouri State.
