STILLWATER, Okla.-The Oral Roberts cross country teams took advantage of one more opportunity to compete in the 2012 season, running against Oklahoma State and Wichita State in a triangular meet.
The men's teams competed in a three-mile race, while the women raced on a two-mile course.
Tyler Banks led the way (19:51) as all six runners were within 11 seconds of each other. In the team standings, ORU fell to both OSU and WSU by a score of 40-15.
On the women's side, Samantha Watson again led the way, despite having run in the NCAA regional meet the day before. The women fell to Wichita State 32-24, and to OSU 45-15.
