TULSA, Okla.-Turnovers and rebounding were key factors in ORU's recent 85-73 loss to Northwestern State, and the Golden Eagles will have to improve on both areas on Saturday as they face Stephen F. Austin, who sits alone in first place in the Southland standings after the ORU loss. The Golden Eagles and Lumberjacks will face off at 6 p.m. on Comcast Sports Net Houston.
Saturday's game will be broadcast live in the Tulsa area on 97.1 FM "The Sports Animal." Free audio will also be provided at www.ORUGoldenEagles.com. In addition to TV coverage in Houston, the game will also be streamed live through the Southland Digital Network.
SFA handed ORU its first Southland Conference loss of the season, beating the Golden Eagles 61-50 in the Mabee Center on January 12. With that victory, SFA made it two straight victories, snapping ORU's three-game winning streak in the series.
