ORU Hosts Corpus Christi on Saturday at 6 p.m.

TULSA, Okla.-The Oral Roberts men’s basketball team will close out the opening weekend of Southland Conference play at home as the Golden Eagles host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Saturday, January 4 at 6 p.m. Saturday’s game will be nationally televised live on Fox College Sports and GEB America, and tape delayed in Tulsa on KGEB. Bob Carpenter and Mickey Michalec will have the call.

Audio of Thursday’s game will be broadcast live in the Tulsa area on 97.1 FM “The Sports Animal,” and free online through the ORU athletics website, www.ORUGoldenEagles.com. Fans on twitter can also follow the @ORUMBB account for live updates and notes throughout the game. Live video through the ELIVE Digital Network is available for a small fee.

Saturday will be the fourth meeting between ORU and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. ORU leads the series 2-1, having won both games last season. Both teams are coming off wins in their respective Southland Conference opener, with ORU beating Houston Baptist 88-55 and the Islanders taking down Central Arkansas 81-66.
