Enjoyed a record-setting senior season … set a Summit League record with 25 home runs, eclipsing the mark of 23 set by former ORU slugger Mike Hill in 1999 … fell three homers short of establishing a new ORU season record … finished year ranking in the ORU season top 10 in three categories: home runs (2nd), slugging percentage (9th; .730), and total bases (10th; 157) … earned first-team All-Summit League honors for the second straight season … batted .326 and knocked in 70 runs in 59 games … batted .389-13-38 in Summit League play … collected five hits and knocked in seven runs in three Summit League Tournament games … earned a spot on the Norman NCAA Regional all-tournament team after belting three home runs with six RBI in three games … had four multi-HR games … recorded four or more RBI five times … batted .443-8-25 over the season’s final 16 games … key member of ORU’s starting rotation, posting a 5-2 record and 7.16 ERA in 16 appearances, including a team-high 14 starts … tossed a complete game in a 7-1 win against No. 30 Wichita State (March 23) … allowed just six hits and struck out four batters without a walk against the Shockers … went 8.1 innings and allowed two runs on four hits to get the win over North Dakota State (May 20) … also earned victories over Western Michigan (March 14), Oakland (April 10) and Southern Utah (April 16) … signed a minor league free agent contract with the Kansas City Royals.
Named the Summit League Newcomer of the Year... batted .333 with 14 doubles, two triples, a team-best 17 home runs and 63 RBI... drew a team-leading 37 walks for a .443 on-base percentage... led the squad with a .710 slugging percentage... batted .425 in Summit League play with seven doubles, 10 homers and 37 RBI... went 3-for-4 with three RBI in ORU’s 13-3 opening win over Cal Poly in the NCAA Regionals on May 29... posted a double and a towering homer to left field in the victory... earned first of two Summit League Player of the Week honors on March 2 after going 7-for-16 with two doubles, two homers and six RBI against UT-San Antonio... earned the honor for the second time after going 7-for-19 with four doubles, two long balls and nine RBI in four games against IPFW... posted a career-high six RBI in the finale against the Mastodons on April 5... went 4-for-6 with five RBI, including two homers in the same inning, in ORU’s 31-3 victory over Western Illinois on May 14... posted 17 multi-hit games and a team-best 19 multi-RBI performances.

Spent last two seasons at Chandler-Gilbert CC in Chandler, Ariz... named first-team all-conference and all-region... batted .350 last season with nine homers and 46 RBI... went five-for five with two homers, a triple and 9 RBI in a game.
Graduated from Mesquite High School in Gilbert, Ariz., in 2006... set eight school records, including 31 career home runs... named first-team all-conference each year and was selected to all-region his senior season.
