KAHUKU, Hawaii—Crystal Reeves fired a final-round 70 to help lead Oral Roberts women’s golf team to a ninth-place finish in the 18-team Turtle Bay Collegiate Invitational, Wednesday at Turtle Bay Resort.
Reeves finished tied for seventh after shooting 1-over par 217 (78-69-70) over three rounds. She helped the Golden Eagles to a final-round 306 and a tournament score of 903 (303-294-306).
UC-Davis (868) won the team championship, and was followed in the standings by UCLA (877), USC (879), California (883), Oregon (896), San Jose State (899), Long Beach State (902), Tulsa (902) and ORU.
Amber Hensley turned in a strong performance in support of Reeves’ effort, finishing tied for 14th after a final-round 74 left her at 221 for the tournament.
Kylie Bollenbach finished tied for 35th at 229 (74-73-82). Rachel Romack finished tied for 76th at 239 while Megan O’Connell completed play 85th at 242.
