ORU women's soccer to face in-state rival, OU

TULSA, Okla. - It won't be an easy task on Sunday as the Oral Roberts women's soccer team takes the pitch at Oklahoma. Kickoff for the match is set for 1 p.m. and will be tape delayed on Fox Sports Oklahoma Plus at 8 p.m.

Head coach Ryan Bush's squad enters the contest with a record of 2-3-1, following a pair of home matches last week when it split with Northwestern State, a 5-0 victory, and a loss to Missouri State.

This will be the first match since Golden Eagle keeper Helen Erb earned Southland Conference goalkeeper of the week honors, which was announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

The Sooners (4-2-1) are fresh off an upset victory as they knocked off previously unbeaten and No. 3 team in the nation Oklahoma State on Friday evening, 1-0. Despite being outshot by 11 in the contest, the lone goal of the match came in the 67th minute on an unassisted goal off the foot of Renae Cueller.

Cueller leads the Sooners with five goals, three more than the Kelly Price who is the only other multiple goal scorer on the team. Cuellar also has 14 shots on goal this season.

The Golden Eagles are 2-11 all time against the Sooners, last coming out on top in a 1-0 overtime victory on Sept. 10, 2004.
