SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-Sophomore Samantha Watson represented Oral Roberts cross country well as she claimed 110^th at the NCAA Midwest Regional, Saturday.

Watson ran 22:57.76, her second-best time of the season, and was the sixth-highest finisher among those not competing as a team.

Her second appearance at the regional meet, Watson improved more than 30 seconds over last season's time, and also improved 15 spots after finishing 125^th in 2011.

The rest of the Golden Eagles will be in action Saturday as they face off against Oklahoma State and Wichita State in a Triangular Meet, hosted by the Cowboys.
