TULSA, Okla.-For the second consecutive year, ORU guard Mikey Manghum has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
With a 3.94 GPA in finance, the Derby, England, native has the highest GPA of the five selections in District 7.
On the court, Manghum has seen action in 19 of the team's 20 games with four starts, but averages nearly 20 minutes per game. He has hit better than 40 percent of his 3-point attempts this season and has 31 assists and is considered as one of the team's top perimeter defenders.
The first team selections from each district will now be nominated for Academic All-America honors later this month.
