High School
Was a conference champion in the 800m and 1,600m events ... ran the 5^th fastest mile in school history (4:26) and was an all-state selection in cross country (16:29), and as a member of the 4x400m relay team ... won a race as a junior and led the team to a 15-point perfect score team victory in cross country ... also elected as his senior class president and team captain ... led worship and was the treasurer for FCA at Clare High School.

Personal
Son of Scott and Lisa Harper ... majoring in communication arts education at ORU ... father, Scott, was an All-American at ORU, while mother, Lisa, is a marathon runner and founded the "Marathon Mission" charity ... sisters are both track stars as well ... chose ORU over Evangel University because it is a Spirit filled University and because his parents are alumni.
