PRIMM, Nev.-The ORU women's golf team posted a 303 team score in the second round, moving up from sixth to first with a two-round score of 616 (+40). The Golden Eagles currently have a five shot lead over Northern Iowa with one round to play from Primm Valley Golf Club.
After shooting a 313 in the first round, the Golden Eagles shot the best score since a 301 in the final round of the Kiawah Invitational on February 28, and the fourth best round of the season.
Crystal Reeves shot 77-74-151 to lead the way for ORU, tying her for fifth in the tournament as all five ORU competitors finished the day in the top 25. Tiffany Robbins shot 77-75-152 to finish one shot back in a tie for 8th. Kylie Bollenbach struggled in round one with an 81, but recovered with a 75 in the second round to finish the day at 156, tied for 16th.
