LAS VEGAS, Nev.-With winds so high that they were blowing golf balls off the green, the coaches got together and agreed to forego the final round of the 2012 Bison Invitational and Paiute Golf Club, giving Oral Roberts a 17-shot victory over the rest of the field based on the 36-hole scores.

The victory is the first for ORU since the Summit League Championship last season, but gives the Golden Eagles a runner-up finish and a championship in two tournaments this week.

Crystal Reeves finished the tournament tied for the individual championship, her second top-3 finish this year, and her first individual victory since winning the Islander Classic on February 28-March 1, 2010.

ORU will have a weekend off after playing two tournaments in the span of five days, and will take to the course again on March 26-27 as they travel to Hot Springs, Ark., for the UALR Women's Golf Classic. The tournament will serve as the final tune up before the 2012 Summit League Conference Championship.
