TULSA—Jarrett Hamilton scored the game’s only goal to lead Oral Roberts to a 1-0 win over Memphis, Friday at Mike Rose Soccer Complex.

With a win at Central Arkansas in Wednesday’s season opener, the Golden Eagles (2-0-0) are off to their best start since 2005.

After a scoreless first half, Hamilton found the back of the net in the 65th minute on a cross from Marco Hernandez.

ORU keeper Andrew Techanchuk kept Memphis off the board, facing 12 shots and recording four saves in posting his first shutout of the season.

The Golden Eagles next host Rogers State, 7 p.m., Tuesday at ORU Soccer Complex.
