TULSA—Rogers State’s Sergio Guerra scored the game’s only goal in the 82nd minute, leading the Hillcats to a 1-0 victory over Oral Roberts, Tuesday at ORU Soccer Complex.

Guerra took a pass from T.J. Martin and poked the ball past ORU goalkeeper Andrew Techanchuk into the lower right corner. The play started with Guerra taking a corner kick from the right side.

The goal spoiled another excellent night in the net for Techanchuk. The senior made four saves including a couple of spectacular stops on point-blank shots, one in each half. In three matches he has allowed just two goals and made 14 saves.

Rogers State (1-1-1) fired off 16 shots, to just 12 for ORU (2-1-0). RSU keeper Sean Surridge was credited with one save,

The Golden Eagles next host Wisconsin-Green Bay, 2 p.m., Sunday at ORU Soccer Complex.
