TULSA-Oral Roberts and Marshall battled to a 2-2 draw in a non-conference men's soccer match, Sunday at ORU Soccer Complex.
ORU (4-6-3) saw its two-match winning streak come to an end in part to an own-goal in the 67th minute.
After a scoreless first half the Golden Eagles got on the board when Daniel Premenko headed in a perfect corner kick by Jarrett Hamilton in the 48th minute.
Marshall (7-5-3) tied the game after a free kick toward ORU's goal was knocked in by the Golden Eagles in the 67th minute, knotting the contest at 1-1.
ORU regained the lead just over 30 seconds later when Jon Gann scored off an assist from John David James in the 68th minute for a 2-1 edge.
Marshall responded in the 72nd minute when Carl Munday gathered a long volley by Kyle Sniatecki and knocked the ball past ORU keeper Andrew Techanchuk, knotting the game at 2-2.
Both goalkeepers faced 18 shots. Techanchuk made six saves for the Golden Eagles while Marshall's Daniel Withrow stopped five shots.
The Golden Eagles next visit Houston Baptist, 7 p.m., Thursday.
