Men's Soccer Falls at Houston Baptist, 2-1

HOUSTON, Texas-Leonel Munoz scored a pair of goals to lead Houston Baptist to a 2-1 win over Oral Roberts, Thursday at Sorrels Field.
All the scoring came in the first half. Munoz scored back-to-back goals in the 27th and 36th minutes to give the Huskies (3-7-1) a 2-0 lead.
ORU (4-7-3) got on the board in the 37th minute when freshman Johnny Chavez found the back of the net on an unassisted goal.
The teams combined for just six shots and two corner kicks in the second half. ORU goalkeeper Andrew Techanchuk finished the match with one save, while HBU keeper Chris Dodd stopped three shots.
The Golden Eagles next host Newman College, 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27 at ORU Soccer Complex.
