Golden Eagles Face New Conference Foe

The Golden Eagles will face a new conference foe on Friday when they visit the Eastern Illinois Panthers.

The Golden Eagles (3-6-0) are 1-1 in conference play this season and are coming off a 4-0 win over Nebraska-Omaha at home. ORU is led by senior Jarrett Hamilton with three goals and one assist. Hamilton had two first half goals against UNO last Sunday. Freshman keeper Nick Petolick has been the coach's favorite at keeper this season. Petolick has started eight matches and has collected 32 saves while allowing 19 goals. He earned his first career shutout last week against UNO.

Eastern Illinois (4-5-1) has not scored a goal against a conference opponent all season. They are 0-1-1 in Summit League play. The Panthers are led by freshman Jake Brillhart who has three goals and one assist. Junior Even Turner and sophomore Tyler Kelley have split time in goal for the Panthers. They have combined for 34 saves and 17 goals allowed.
