TULSA, Okla.-ORU has struggled in the first half of the season, but with senior Jarrett Hamilton finally heating up, they hope their fortunes will turn on Sunday against former Summit League rival Valparaiso.
The Crusaders (4-4-2) are 1-1 this year against Summit League opponents. Valpo opened the season with an 8-0 win over Calumet College, but since that game they have struggled to produce offense, and have only scored seven goals. The Crusaders are led by seniors Chad Sult and Kyle Zobeck. Sult leads the team in points with two goals and two assists, while Zobeck has started all ten games at keeper and has collected 28 saves and allowed just nine goals.
The Golden Eagles (3-7-0) are looking for some success on the road as they hope to shake off a tough conference loss to Eastern Illinois on Friday. ORU is led by Senior Jarrett Hamilton with four goals and two assists. Freshman Nick Petolick has started nine games for the Golden Eagles, and has 33 saves and allowed 21 goals.
