Hurricane Isaac impacts menís soccer schedule
TULSA, Okla. - Hurricane Isaac has officially made an impact on the Oral Roberts sports schedule as a pair of men's soccer matches over the weekend in Conway, Ark., has been pushed back by a day.
Originally set to play on Friday versus Missouri State (1-0-1) and against Central Arkansas (2-0) on Sunday, the Golden Eagles' games have been moved to Saturday at 1:30 and Monday at 2:30 against the same to opponents, weather permitting.
Oral Roberts is still looking for its first win of the season after falling to Houston Baptist on the road last Friday in the season opener.
Saturday's matchup versus the Bears of Missouri State marks the 17th meeting between the two teams since the 1988 season. MSU holds the series lead over the Golden Eagles, 3-11-2, winning the most recent contest last season, 6-1.
On Monday, the Golden Eagles will face off with the host school, Central Arkansas. UCA is coming off a pair of wins this past weekend in Illinois against Loyola-Chicago, 2-1, and ORU conference foe Western Illinois, 1-0.
