Tulsa, Okla. -  Eight athletes form the Oral Roberts track and field team qualified for the 2011 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Preliminary Championships which will be held May 26-28.

Fredrick Brown (triple jump), Clive Chafausipo (long jump), Jack Whitt, Dustin Gehrke (pole vault), Jeffery Gibson (400m hurdles) and Jeramy Roberts, Brandon Williams, Marvin Bonde, Chafausipo and Gibson (4x400) will all make the trip to the west preliminary competition hosted by the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon.

The top 48 athletes in each event made the preliminary round and the top 12 qualifiers from those regions will advance to the NCAA Championships, June 8-11 in Des Moines, Iowa.
