ELMHURST, Ill. - Oral Roberts' Clive Chafausipo and Southern Utah's Kayla Kovar were named The Summit League's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for their performances April 10-16.
MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Chafausipo garners his second career Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honor and first of the season after winning the long jump at the Texas Tech Open and recording the 13th-best mark in the nation. The senior won the event with a jump of 25'1.75" (7.66m), which is a league-best and ties for 13th in the nation.

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Kovar captures her first career Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week award after posting the 43rd-best mark in the nation in the hammer throw at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational. The Ridgecrest, Calif., native finished runner-up in the hammer throw with a mark of 189'0" (57.62m), which ranks second in the league. She also won the discus with a throw of 156'3" (47.62m).
