TULSA, Okla.-The Oral Roberts men's and women's track and field teams will compete in seven events this weekend as they travel to the NCAA Preliminary Rounds in Austin, Texas.
Kristen Radcliff (3,000-meter steeplechase) and Camila Pirelli (javelin) will represent ORU on the women's side, while Jack Whitt (pole vault), Clive Chafausipo (long jump), Jeffery Gibson (400-meter hurdles), Brandon Williams (400-meter dash) will compete individually for the men. The men's 4x400-meter relay team will also be in Austin to earn a spot into the NCAA Championship in Des Moines, Iowa.
Entering the meet, Whitt is the highest ranked athlete for ORU, posting the fifth-best mark this season (5.50m), while Gibson's 50.69-second time in the 400-meter hurdles is the 11th in the west region.
