BROKEN ARROW-Oral Roberts men's golf team is fourth after two rounds of play at the Bob Hurley Auto Family ORU Shootout, which took place Monday at Golf Club of Oklahoma.
The Golden Eagles shot a combined score of 605 (305-300) and trail team leader Louisiana-Monroe (589) by 16 strokes. Sam Houston State is second at 592 and Texas State is third at 593. Stephen F. Austin (607) is fifth.
ULM's Gustaf Kocken shot 5-under par 67 in each round and owns an eight shot lead over Oklahoma State's Brad Gehl heading into Tuesday's final round in the 10-team, 60-player tournament.
Junior Bryan Boaz leads the Golden Eagles at 3-over par 147 (74-73), good for a three-way tie for seventh. Sophomore Shannon Allen is tied for 17th at 151 (76-75).
Sophomore David Holtgrewe carded 152 (76-79) on the day and is tied for 22nd. Sophomore Jake Spencer is tied for 32nd (155) and senior Garrett Moore is tied for 47th at 161.
Tuesday final round begins with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
