First Round Scores
ST. GEORGE, Utah—Oral Roberts men’s golf team fired an opening round 302 and is in 10th place with one round remaining at the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational, Monday at Sunbrook Golf Club.

The Golden Eagles trail team leader Dixie State (285) by 17 strokes in the 12-team tournament. Utah Valley (286), College of Charleston (288), Utah State (290) and Cal State-Fullerton (291) round out the top five teams.

Shannon Allen leads ORU and is tied for 25th after shooting one-over par 73 on Monday. Jake Spencer and Kyle Spencer are tied for 40th with a 76.

Garrett Moore is tied for 50th after carding a 77, and David Holtgrewe is tied for 54th at 78.

The second and final round is scheduled for a 10 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday.
