ORU finished tournament play at 894 (308-294-292), playing better in each round. New Mexico State (853) edged Florida Gulf Coast (856) for the team title.
Jake Spencer enjoyed a solid tournament for the Golden Eagles, finishing tied for 17th after a third-round 73 left him at 217. NMSU’s Gaston De La Torre earned medalist honors by shooting 207.
Shannon Allen joined Spencer in the top 25, tying for 23rd at 219 (81-70-68). David Holtgrewe tied for 69th at 230 (79-76-75).
Garrett Moore (79-78-76=233) and Bryan Boaz (79-75-79=233) tied for 73rd.
The Golden Eagles next compete at the Jackrabbit Invitational, March 14-15 in Primm, Nev.
