Wichita, KS-The Oral Roberts men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to the Wichita State Shockers Friday afternoon in non-conference action.
Mikhail Trukshanin fared the best for ORU, battling Vlad Marinescu to a tough three set decision before finally falling 7-5, 5-7 and 5-10 in #1 singles.
Igor Sobolta also looked strong for the Golden Eagles in #2 singles, falling 6-2, 4-6 and 5-7 to David Cavalcanti.
Trukshanin and Sobolta took another loss in doubles with a 4-8 setback to Marinescu and Valentin Mihai.
The loss drops ORU to 1-4 on the season. The Golden Eagles are back it on March 5, as they head to Stillwater to take on Oklahoma State at 2:00 p.m.
