ELMHURST, Ill. - Oral Roberts' Mikhail Trukshanin was named men's tennis player of the week as announced by The Summit League for his performance during the week of April 5-11.

Trukshanin earns his second award of the season and third of his career after notching a pair of straight-set league victories.

Playing the No. 1 singles position, Trukshanin defeated IPFW's Roberto Cabrini (6-2, 6-2) and Centenary's Micha Threadgill (6-0, 6-4).

In doubles play, Trukshanin teamed with Igor Sobolta to defeated the Gents' tandem of Threadgill/Threadgill 8-7 (7-2).

For the season, Trukshanin improved his singles record to 4-5 overall, 3-1 in The Summit League.
