Tulsa—The Oral Roberts women’s tennis team opened the spring season in style with a 7-0 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Thursday morning in Tulsa.

Irvna Khatsko impressed in #1 singles, posting a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Fabiola Cardosa.

Not to be outdone, Lina Semenova notched a 6-0, 6-1 win over Mario Cabane in #2 singles.

Semenova and Khatsko teamed up to down Cardosa and Cabane 8-0 in #1 doubles, while Kristin Gray and Ekaterin Kondrashova rolled to an 8-1 win in #2 doubles.

With the win, ORU stands at 1-0 on the year, while Arkansas-Pine Bluff falls to 0-1.

ORU takes the court once again tomorrow evening as they take on the University of Tulsa at 5:00 p.m.
