Tulsa—The Oral Roberts women’s tennis dropped a 5-1 singles-only decision to the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Saturday afternoon at the University of Tulsa.

Irvna Khatsko nabbed the lone ORU win of the afternoon with a 6-4, 6-1 decision in #1 singles.

It was all UALR from that point on however, as Lina Semenova stumbled 4-6, 3-6 to Veronique Luksich in #2 doubles and Kristin Gray faltered 7-5, 0-6 and 1-6 at the #3 spot.

UALR’s Nathalia Garay posted 6-3, 6-4 victories over Ekaterina Kondrashova in #4, and ORU’s Rachel Scrogg dropped a pair of 1-6 decisions to Rebecca Van Den Houte in the 5 slot.

Finally, Brittany Smith was upended by Adrea Steen-Rosten 1-6, 0-6 in #6 singles.

With the loss, ORU falls to 1-2 on the young season. The Golden Eagles are back in action on January 28, as they take on St. Louis at 2:00 p.m. in St. Louis, MO.
