ELMHURST, Ill. - Oral Roberts University senior Iryna Khatsko was named Summit League Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, the League office announced today.

Khatsko, a native of Lviv, Ukraine, was instrumental in ORU’s 4-1 victory over Central Arkansas on Sunday afternoon. The senior won her singles match over Simona Horsikyan, 6-2, 6-3, at the top flight. In doubles play, Khatsko teamed with Kristin Gray for an 8-5 win over Horsikyan and Kazumi Otani.

For the season, Khatsko is 3-3 in singles play and 3-2 as a doubles competitor.

She was an All-Summit League selection in 2011.

ORU (3-4) will look to win their third straight match on Thursday, March 15, when they face the University of Arkansas.
