ELMHURST, Ill. - Junior Tori Dollar was named Summit League Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, the League office announced today. The weekly award is the second of the season for Dollar.

Dollar was the lone Golden Eagle to earn a point on March 23, in ORU’s 5-1 loss to Arkansas. Her victory came at No. 6 singles with a 6-2, 6-3 triumph over Catherine Parenteau.

Counting singles and doubles points, Dollar has not been defeated since Jan. 28 against North Texas. The junior was named Summit League Player of the Week on Jan. 24 for her sterling efforts in the opening week of the campaign.

A native of Kiev, Ukraine, Dollar is now 5-2 in singles play this season.

The Golden Eagles return to the court Thursday at 2 pm against IPFW. The match is the first of four Summit League competitions for ORU this week in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
