ELMHURST, Ill. - Oral Roberts University senior Iryna Khatsko has been named Summit League Women’s Tennis Player of the Week, the League office announced today. The weekly award is the second of Khatsko’s career, with both nods coming in 2012.

Khatsko had a monster week for the Golden Eagles, winning all eight of her matches at the Summit League cluster event in Ft. Wayne, Ind. The senior was 4-0 in top flight singles matches and combined with Kristin Gray to go 4-0 at No. 2 doubles.

A native of Lviv, Ukraine, Khatsko is now 7-4 in singles matches and 7-2 in doubles matches this year.

Khatsko was also named Player of the Week on March 3 of this season. Teammate Tori Dollar has also won a pair of Summit League weekly awards this season.

Led by Khatsko’s masterful week, ORU was perfect at the Summit League cluster and now stands 7-5 overall, with a 4-0 mark in Summit League action.

The Golden Eagles return to the court on Thursday, April 12, when they begin another four-match Summit League cluster in Indianapolis.
