Coming out of intermission, ORU controlled the third set, jumping ahead 10-2 and cruising to the 25-16 victory.

Southern Utah would not go down without a fight however, battling ORU every step of the way in game four. The final set featured five ties with neither team able to pull ahead by more than two points down the stretch. Eventually, the Golden Eagles managed to put the game on ice thanks to back-to-back kills by Fredeen and Anna Rossi.

Rossi dished out a game-best 41 assists in the win, while Bruna Silva led ORU with 18 digs.

With the victory, ORU improves to 11-12 on the season and 9-6 in Summit League play. Southern Utah drops to 11-12 and 9-6 in conference.

Still in contention for postseason play, the Golden Eagles are right back at it Sunday afternoon when they host the UMKC Kangaroos. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. in the Aerobics Center.
