TULSA, Okla. - Head Coach Sheera Sirola and the Oral Roberts University volleyball program are proud to announce that Jovana Poljasevic has signed a national letter of intent to suit up for the Golden Eagles in 2012.

Poljasevic comes to ORU from Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and she attended Vaso Pelagic Gymnasium in Brcko. As a middle blocker on her club team, ZOK Jedinstvo BRCKO, Puljasevic participated on five State Championship squads and was coached by Goran Hadzic.

Poljasevic also participated in Latin American Dance while in high school, and she plans to study journalism at ORU. Her mother, Jadranka, was a professional handball player for nearly two decades.

Sirola led the Golden Eagles to a 20-10 record and a runner-up Summit League Championship finish in 2011.
