Baligod Selected on Third Day of MLB Draft

Twice a first-team All-Summit League selection, Baligod batted .364 with seven home runs and 41 RBI during ORU’s recently completed season. He led the Golden Eagles with 67 runs scored and 21 doubles, and was perfect in 15 stolen base attempts.
Baligod’s .376 career batting average is fourth in ORU history. In 115 career games the left-handed hitter cracked 18 home runs and had 95 RBI. He also collected 38 doubles and stole 22 bases.
ORU signee Kentrell Hill was selected in the 10th round on Tuesday by San Francisco Giants. Hill, a native of Ashdown, Ark., played this season at Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock.
