TULSA, Okla.-To go along with his Summit League Player of the Week honor, Oral Roberts junior catcher Bennett Pickar has been named the conference player of the week by College Sports Madness for his performances against IPFW.
Pickar was red hot at the plate in Fort Wayne, batting .667 for the series, with a home run and 11 RBI. The junior hit a grand slam and drove in six runs on Friday, and he went 3-for-3 with two RBI in Sunday's 12-1 win.
The Golden Eagles are currently in first place in the Summit League standings with one series to play. That series will begin on Thursday as ORU faces North Dakota State at 6:30 p.m. Fans can get free tickets to that game, or Saturday's regular season-finale by going to the link below.
