Wichita State visits ORU in mid-week showdown

TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts baseball team looks to gain some momentum heading into their first road trip of the season as they host winless Wichita State at home on Tuesday afternoon.
First pitching between the Golden Eagles and Shockers is scheduled for 3 p.m.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a victory in the series finale over Saint Louis, 5-0, for its first win of the season, while the Shockers were swept in their opening series at home against Pittsburgh.
The Tuesday matchup is the 55th meeting between the two programs, with the Shockers holding the series lead, 29-26. In 2012, the Shockers took home a victory in Tulsa and the Golden Eagles stole a home victory away from the Shockers.
