TULSA, Okla. – Coming off its first sweep over a ranked opponent in recent memory, the Oral Roberts baseball team will look to continue that momentum into a tough mid-week contest against No. 14 Oklahoma on Tuesday. Game time at J.L. Johnson Stadium is set for 6:30 p.m.

Both squads picked up three game sweeps in their conference openers, with the Golden Eagles taking three from No. 23 Central Arkansas at home, while the Sooners achieved the same feat in Norman against TCU.

The Golden Eagles and Sooners matched up last week in a pair of games, one of which went 15 innings, with OU coming out on top, 9-8. In the second contest, ORU batted, but fell 15-8.

Nate Goro sits atop of the ORU lineup with a .333 average and fresh off a game-winning single on Sunday. Logan Domenico has begun his push for .300 after a week where he hit .524, including going 7-for-10 at OU.

Leading the Sooners at the plate is Matt Oberste who has an outstanding .471 average, the only plus .300 average on the roster. He has hit seven homers, with nine doubles and three triples, driving in 18 more RBI’s than the next best, Jack Mayfield, with 15.
