Played in three games for a total of eight minutes, but scored in two of the three appearances ... had a season-high three points on an old-fashioned 3-point play against McNeese State (Jan. 26) ... grabbed one rebound, coming against St. Gregory's (Nov. 14) and had an assist and a steal against Central Arkansas (Feb. 19). 

2011-12 (Freshman)
Joined the Golden Eagles in the middle of the 2011-12 season ... traveled with the team but did not play.

High School
Helped lead his Springbrook HS team to three-straight state championships (2008, 2009, 2010) ... lost just four games in his final two years, including a 25-1 record as a junior ... earned All-Gameday Magazine third team honors and was named to the All-Holiday Tournament Team and earned Most-Improved Player honors in 2010-11 ... averaged 11.2 points, 3.6 assists and 1.3 3-pointers per game and connected on 81 percent of his free throw attempts as a senior.

Son of Parrish, Sr. and Shirrell Purnell ... came to ORU because of God's direction ... majoring in business management with hopes of owning his own graphic arts company.
