Thrust into the point guard position and excelled, playing in all 35 games with 21 starts, including the first seven games of his ORU career and the 14 of the final 16 games of the year … averaged 6.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game … scored at least 10 points in eight games and had a season-high 17 points at Lamar (March 2), recording a season-high 13 rebounds in the same game for his first double-double … had a season-best 10 assists at home against Lamar (Jan. 24) and set a season watermark of four steals at Sam Houston State (Jan. 19) … shot 43 percent (77-179) from the field and 75 percent (51-68) from the free throw line … hit just 23 percent (8-34) from behind the arc, but finished the season 8-21 (38 percent) after starting 0-13 before he cracked the lid off the basket.

As a senior, Billbury helped lead the Hornets to a 21-0 record and their second straight Class 5A state championship by averaging 16.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game ... earned state tournament MVP honors after scoring 20 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the title game against El Reno on the Mabee Center floor at ORU ... shot 52 percent from the field as a senior, including 46 percent from 3-point range ... earned third team All-State and second-team All-Metro honors from the Tulsa World, and The Daily Oklahoman named him to their 5A All-State first team ... during his junior season Billbury averaged 11.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals in 29 games. He chose ORU after receiving offers from Northern Illinois, UTSA and others.
