TULSA, Okla.-Coming off an 18-point victory over Lamar nearly a week ago, Oral Roberts will try to continue momentum heading into the Southland Conference Tournament as they travel to Central Arkansas on Saturday in the regular season finale for both teams.
Saturday's game will be broadcast live in the Tulsa area on 97.1 FM "The Sports Animal." Free audio will also be provided at www.ORUGoldenEagles.com. Video will also be available on the Lamar athletic website (UCASports.com/Showcase).
ORU (18-12, 13-4 Southland) and Central Arkansas (12-16, 6-11 Southland) will battle for the fourth time in the history of the two schools and the second time this season after ORU blasted the bears 94-65 at the Mabee Center less than three weeks ago. ORU leads the all-time series against UCA 2-1, with none of the three meetings being close. In addition to the 29-point victory this year, ORU won 102-80 in 1999, while UCA's lone victory in the series came in 1989 (102-80), meaning all three games were decided by more than 20 points.
