TULSA, Okla. – Mikey Manghum, who earned Capital One Academic All-District and Southland Conference All-Academic honors as a member of the ORU men’s basketball team, has another award for his mantle, having been named to the NABC Honors Court for the 2012-13 season.
Manghum earned his bachelor’s degree with a 3.94 GPA in finance, playing in 34 of the Golden Eagles’ 35 games this year. He finished the season third on the team in 3-pointers made and second in 3-point percentage.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet the following criteria:
1. A junior or senior academically
2. Hold a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2012-13 academic year
3. Be a member of an NCAA Division I, I, II or NAIA Division I or II institution
4. Must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution
