TULSA, Okla. - College Sports Madness has named Oral Roberts University’s Kevi Luper to their 2011-12 Mid-Major All-American team, it was announced today. Luper is the lone Summit League student-athlete on the team.

The junior guard averages 24.0 points and 3.8 steals per game through ORU’s first 30 games. A native of Adair, Luper leads the Summit League and ranks in the top five nationally in both categories.

Luper is the lone Summit League player to represent the conference on the Naismith Trophy Early Season Watch List, and she competed for Team USA at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The only three-time winner of the Summit League’s Player of the Year award, Luper was also named conference player of the year by CSM.

The online publication also honored senior Jordan Pyle as a 3rd team All-Summit League selection and senior Georgia Jones as a 4th team pick.

Luper and the Golden Eagles are 20-10 on the season and currently await potential postseason opportunities.
